About the Jounal

Economic Research-Ekonomska Istraživanja publishes rigorous scientific papers which make a significant contribution to any field of economics – theoretical, applied or empirical – with special attention given to experiences of the transition from socialism to market economies in Eastern Europe. New research on regional development in other geographical areas is welcomed, particularly papers addressing theoretical and empirical issues in economics for countries in transition and former transitional economies. The journal encourages submissions that explore broad economic topics that can contribute to the development of economics as a discipline, discussing important economic issues both from an orthodox or heterodox point of view.

About the Jounal

Since its founding in 1962, Eastern European Economics has consistently published the finest research on the economies of Central and Eastern Europe. The journal aims to reflect developments in Central and Eastern European economic thought and policy that are of the most relevance to academic and professional specialists in economics, finance and international relations who have an interest in these countries and in the future of the new Europe. Topics covered by Eastern European Economics include the functioning of East European countries under central planning; reform trends in communist-era economic theory and practice; and, more recently, the ongoing processes of transition to market economics in different countries and their integration into the broader European and global economies.

Emerging Markets Finance and Trade is recognized worldwide for the quality and timeliness of the research on emerging markets and economies. Fields covered by Emerging Markets Finance and Trade include economics, finance, international business, and international relations. About the Jounal

The major goal of the Journal is to make research findings in socio-economic processes available to the global scientific community and practitioners, and give them an opportunity to get acquainted with different opinions on critical economic and social issues and participate in discussing these issues. The Journal publishes original articles and reviews devoted to the analysis and forecast of changes in the economy and social sphere in different countries, regions, and local areas. The main topics include territorial development strategies, regional and sectoral economy, social development, formation of budget revenues and rationalization of spending, innovation economy, and economic theory. The journal publishes articles of both Russian and foreign authors in the Russian and English languages. The editor provides an opportunity for young scientists to publish research findings of their dissertations.

RIC is dedicated to promoting the distribution of important scholarly work at all levels: faculty/researchers, policy makers, economic professionals and other leading intellectuals; studying innovation and competitiveness both on the micro and macro levels.The Journal is interested in both theoretical and applied research with an emphasis on topics in international trade, factors conditions, demand conditions, firm strategy, structure and rivalry, human resource endowments, R&D capabilities, new technology adoption, managerial and organizational factors, models and process of innovation, innovation law and policy, innovation networks, technical change, marketing innovation, clusters and networks and other topics falling within the field of economics of innovation.

RIC is not tied to any particular strand of theory, academic discipline, or subject of research in the field of economic science investigating economics of innovation and competitiveness. RIC will endeavor to provide concise and accessible review on most important technical, socio-economic factors driving information technology industries.

In pursuit of its program RIC will try to explain what is happening in the race for global innovation advantage, explain economic decline in the most developed economies of the 21st century, change and dynamics in the innovation and innovation polices worldwide, building innovation advantage in order to overcome barriers to innovation.

Title of the Special Issue: Global Changes in Tourism
 
Call for papers:
The presented papers dealing with global changes in tourism will be considered to be published in a special edition (or in a thematic block) of the “Academica Turistica - Tourism and Innovation Journal”, a peer-reviewed journal issued by University of Primorska focused on dissemination of knowledge on tourism and innovation from a social sciences perspective.
