About the Jounal

Economic Research-Ekonomska Istraživanja publishes rigorous scientific papers which make a significant contribution to any field of economics – theoretical, applied or empirical – with special attention given to experiences of the transition from socialism to market economies in Eastern Europe. New research on regional development in other geographical areas is welcomed, particularly papers addressing theoretical and empirical issues in economics for countries in transition and former transitional economies. The journal encourages submissions that explore broad economic topics that can contribute to the development of economics as a discipline, discussing important economic issues both from an orthodox or heterodox point of view.

Up to 10 best papers of the conference will be offered a possibilty to be published in the journal Economic and Social Changes: Facts, Trends, Forecast (without publishing fee).

About the Journal

The major goal of the Journal is to make research findings in socio-economic processes available to the global scientific community and practitioners and give them an opportunity to get acquainted with different opinions on critical economic and social issues and participate in discussing these issues. The Journal publishes original articles and reviews devoted to the analysis and forecast of changes in the economy and social sphere in different countries, regions, and local areas. The main topics include territorial development strategies, regional and sectoral economy, social development, the formation of budget revenues and rationalization of spending, innovation economy, and economic theory. The journal publishes articles of both Russian and foreign authors in the Russian and English languages. The editor provides an opportunity for young scientists to publish research findings of their dissertations.

Managing Global Transitions (MGT) is a social sciences' interdisciplinary research journal. The aim of this journal is to publish research articles which analyse all aspects of transitions and changes in societies, economies, cultures, networks, organizations, teams, and individuals, and the processes that are most effective in managing large scale transitions from dominant structures to more evolutionary, developmental forms, in a global environment. The journal seeks to offer researchers and professionals the opportunity to discuss the most demanding issues regarding managing of those transitions to establish and enhance a sustainable economic environment.
